Swisscom has promised consumers that its recently upgraded blue TV experience (using the new Android TV-based TV-Box 5) offers a whole world of entertainment and ‘brings together what belongs together’. We hear how the Pay TV provider has taken super-aggregation up a gear with a hard bundle that provides a 35% discount for consumers taking Disney+, Paramount+, Sky Cinema and blue Max together. Streaming services are charged on the Swisscom bill, and there is a consumer-facing console where you can add or remove third-party streaming services with just a few clicks. We find out how Swisscom is adding new value to the aggregator function, and hear about the business model and practicalities involved with significantly discounted multi-app bundling.
