Gerry is a global media leader with over 35 years of experience and expertise from all sides of the media industry – media agencies, broadcasters, and advertisers. Most recently, Gerry served as Vice President, Global Media at Procter & Gamble. He joined Procter & Gamble as an experienced hire, rare for a company that mostly promotes from within, to accelerate media and digital transformation at the company. He oversaw the CPG giant’s extensive in-housing of media planning and buying, as well as the increased use of programmatic trading of digital media and connected television to expand reach in an increasingly fragmented media market. Prior to joining Procter & Gamble, Gerry held media and marketing leadership roles at Mondelēz International, Samsung, Sky, and Leo Burnett. Gerry has served in a wide range of industry roles, including Co-Chair of the World Federation of Advertisers Media Forum, founding member of the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, member of the Global Board of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), and member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council for Media, Entertainment & Sport. Gerry is married, has two children, and currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland.
