Robert Hicks, co-founder and CEO of C-Screens began his career in media in 1998 as a Sales Executive at Global Radio.
After strengthening his media expertise at national newspaper, The Independent and AOL Networks, he went on to become Multiplatform Sales Manager at ITV where he was the first person to build and sell ITV's (and the UK's) first VoD broadcast catch up advertising campaign with Mediacom on Love Island in 2015. He affectionally became known as 'the VoD father' after this inaugural move.
During his time at ITV, Robert was also behind the first Shazam advertising campaign with Pepsi on The X Factor and also activated the UK's first product placement campaign. This involved implementing a Nestle Dolce Gusto machine on the set of This Morning, which resulted Nestle's share price moving by 3 points.
Following a year at CBS Interactive in 2012, Robert founded C-Screens with his brother, Richard, which has grown to become the UK's largest audio-visual TV outdoor network, delivering premium content and high impact ad experiences to highly engaged and bespoke audiences nationwide.
C-Screens are ultimately taking the traditional linear TV and Fast experience out of home, offering advertisers measurable incremental reach and landowners new revenue streams. With a commitment to innovation and measurable results, C-Screens fosters collaborative partnerships, elevates public spaces, and redefines entertainment for audiences beyond the living room.
