Josh Krichefski is EMEA President at PMG, a leading independent global marketing services and technology company, where he oversees strategy, expansion, and operations across the region. He brings extensive experience leading complex, multinational organisations through growth, transformation, and integration, with a strong track record of working closely with boards and senior stakeholders in highly scrutinised environments.
Previously, Josh served as CEO of GroupM EMEA, leading 17,000 people across 42 markets and overseeing more than $22 billion in turnover. In this role, he partnered closely with public-company boards and regional leadership teams, balancing commercial performance with governance, risk management, and accountability across diverse regulatory landscapes. He worked extensively with clients, investors, and global leadership on long-term strategy, operating model evolution, capital deployment, and talent oversight.
Before this, Josh was Global COO of EssenceMediacom, where he led the integration of two global agencies following a major merger, overseeing the global client practice and marketing function. Earlier, as CEO of MediaCom across EMEA and the UK, he delivered sustained market-leading performance, with the agency ranked number one in both regions. He was named the industry’s “Number One Media Agency Leader” by Campaign magazine for two consecutive years.
Alongside his executive career, Josh has held a number of governance, advisory, and trustee roles. He was a Trustee of The Talent Foundry and Futureversity, and served on the MS Society Appeal Board. He is also a Founding Member of the World Wellbeing Movement, contributing to global leadership on workforce wellbeing and sustainable performance. In 2025, Josh completed a two-year tenure as President of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA), representing the industry at board and government level. During this time, he championed a People First Agenda, creating the People First Promise and Adland’s Wellbeing Lab to establish measurable standards for leadership accountability; nearly 200 businesses have since earned the People First Promise Badge of Honour. Josh is a Fellow of both the IPA and the Marketing Society and is a qualified Executive Coach accredited by the Association of Coaching.
Josh brings to boards deep expertise in strategy, marketing and communications, advertising, organisational transformation, technology and AI adoption, culture and talent oversight, and stakeholder management. He is particularly interested in Non-Executive Director roles where he can support boards and executive teams navigating growth, digital and AI-enabled change, and heightened expectations around people, culture, and governance.
