Firoz Bhaiyat is Associate Dean for Business, Digital and Academic Development and Assurance at University Academy 92 (UA92), where he initially served as the Head of Business and founded the UA92 Business School. With a passion for reimagining business education, Firoz has led the development of a pioneering business school that fuses academic rigour with deep industry engagement. His career spans the financial services sector, having worked with HSBC and First Direct, and higher education, bringing a unique perspective on business and leadership. Prior to UA92, he held senior academic roles at Global Banking School and Sheffield Hallam University. A key milestone in his leadership was securing full Chartered Association of Business School membership for UA92 Business School within just six months, an exceptional achievement for a new institution. His research focuses on the impact of Top Management Teams on organisational performance, keeping him at the forefront of strategic business thinking. Firoz also serves on the Audit and Risk Committee at the British Psychotherapy Foundation, supporting governance and sector-wide development. He holds a PhD in Finance, a Masters in Banking and Finance, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. At the heart of his work is a commitment to transforming teaching, learning, student experiences and developing future-ready professionals.
