The Canadian market has changed dramatically since this event first launched, and many of the fears voiced a decade ago are now becoming reality. But there are still plenty of myths and facts to unpack.
For instance, linear TV hasn't declined as quickly as many predicted. Streaming has certainly grown, but the marketplace is a mix — with plenty of high-quality inventory to celebrate, and a growing volume of low-quality, non-TV-standard inventory that’s causing confusion and making it harder for brands to effectively reach Canadians.
