Laurent Bliaut holds a degree in advertising from IUT de Paris V, a Master’s in Information and Communication from the Université Paris-Panthéon Assas Paris II (Institut Français de Presse), and a postgraduate degree in television and telecommunications management from Université Paris-Dauphine. He began his career in 1991 at Ogilvy & Mather as a media planner and TV buyer. He then held the positions of TV Director in 1994 and Audiovisual Director in 1996. In 1999, with the creation of MindShare by WPP, he was appointed Deputy General Manager, then General Manager in 2000. In 2002, he joined France Télévisions Publicité as Director of Marketing and Insights, before moving into new media in 2004. Beginning in 2006, he progressed at TF1 Publicité, occupying various roles such as Director of Marketing and Studies, Deputy General Manager Marketing and Revenue Management in 2009, and becoming Deputy General Manager Commercial Multiscreen in 2013. In 2016, he was appointed Deputy General Manager Marketing, R&D, and Innovation.

Laurent Bliaut is a member of the Executive Committee of TF1 Publicité and the General Management Committee of the TF1 Group. Additionally, he is a board member of IREP, CESP, the TV and Cross Media committees of Médiamétrie, and currently serves as the president of EGTA.
