Laura is an FTVA OG and was named a Top 50 Women Gamechanger in TV by The Media Leader.
She’s held industry leading roles at Roku, Yahoo and MBC and was instrumental in building the first hybrid TV streaming measurement and analytics infrastructure for Shahid, the Middle East’s leading TV streaming platform offering AVOD and SVOD TV streaming in 2015.
She spent 8 years on the board of WIRe, Women in Research and has recently been nominated onto the Rise Board for Women in broadcast, media and tech.
She is a Chartered Marketing (CIM) qualified marketer from London Metropolitan University and was classically trained at the BBC as a digital and primary research and analytics practitioner measuring live streaming TV over 20 years ago with BBC News.
Her pioneering work has shaped industries and the evolution of media measurement and advertising across screens. She is known for her methodological rigor and pragmatic business approach and has been integral to many industry-led measurement solutions that still stand today including UKOM, Touchpoints, and advertising spend studies globally.
She is currently independent and works across the spectrum of CTV, TV streaming and advertising with clients in media and technology companies, advertising agencies, measurement and research vendors, trade bodies, and the analyst community.
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Laura has lived and worked across four continents and no matter where she is, you can usually find her in the various ad tech groups giving a helping hand, opinion or two or sharing hot of the press news!
