Scott Sheffer joined Google in 2006 and is currently the Vice President of Global Partnerships, Sellside Monetization. In this role, Scott is responsible for leading Google’s Sellside Partnerships team which oversees all Google Ad Manager, AdSense and AdMob relationships globally. These teams partner with global and regional broadcasters and streamers as well as millions of publishing and developer partners around the world, who use Google’s Sellside ad technology platforms and monetization services to deliver advertising across a variety of surfaces and devices, including mobile phones, PCs, Connected TVs and smart speakers.
Before Google, Scott was a Vice President of Strategy, Marketing and Operations at Symyx Technologies, a research productivity tools and software firm in Santa Clara, CA. Scott also worked as a consultant in McKinsey & Company’s Chicago and San Francisco offices, specializing in strategy and operations for the biotechnology, health care and chemicals industries.
Scott holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University, a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University, and is an avid backpacker, poker player and amateur mixologist.
