Glenn Engebretsen is Chair of Tenk TV, the Norwegian TV industry association uniting the country’s commercial broadcasters: TV 2, Warner Bros. Discovery and Viaplay Group, and Sales & Effect Manager at TV 2. Norway offers a rare case of fierce competitors joining forces to strengthen TV, most recently through the launch of Glimra, a joint platform for buying digital TV advertising across all three broadcasters. The results are showing: TV is growing its share of total advertising spend, and broadcaster streaming (BVOD) has now overtaken YouTube in advertising revenue in Norway. Glenn works at the intersection of advertising sales, effectiveness and measurement, and has been at the heart of the collaboration driving this development.
