Alex is a highly experienced business leader with more than 20 years of digital advertising & technology experience. He currently serves as General Manager of Samsung Ads Australia, a leading provider of Advanced TV advertising solutions.
Alex has a proven track record for spearheading product commercialisation, go-to-market strategies and driving business results at world class media agencies, publishers and hardware companies. He spent the best part of a decade building out Google’s ad tech business across Asia Pacific.
As a founding executive of Samsung Ads Australia, Alex was instrumental in setting up the Australia arm of the business. Armed with a deep understanding of ad tech and viewership preferences Alex is tasked with driving commercial expansion and growth across APAC. He leads Australia's ad sales, client solutions, operations, and marketing teams and oversees the company's advertising platform across Samsung’s Smart TV and digital ecosystem.
Samsung Ads is now a member of the interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) video and gaming council in Australia, and Alex frequently participates in industry conferences to help educate the industry on Connected TV and evangelize Samsung Ads’ platform. Alex holds a master business administration degree at the UNSW. On the weekends he flies small aeroplanes and lives in Sydney with his wife and their daughter.
