Virginia Hyland is CEO of SQUAD M&A, a specialist advisory firm helping independent agency founders realise their financial and strategic potential through the right M&A partnerships across the APAC region.
Recently inducted into the AdNews Hall of Fame, Virginia is a respected leader in the media and marketing industry with more than two decades of experience building, scaling and advising agencies. She founded independent media agency Hyland Media, which was successfully acquired by Havas Group in 2020, before going on to lead the business as CEO of Havas Media ANZ.
Virginia has long been a passionate contributor to the industry, serving for over a decade on the Media Federation of Australia Board, including as Vice Chair. Known for her deep relationships across the media, marketing and investment community, she now advises founders and investors on culturally aligned deals that unlock growth, value and long-term success.
