Paul Edwards is Vice President Content Strategy and Acquisitions for Pluto TV International Markets at Paramount.
In this role, Paul oversees content strategy, acquisition, programming and scheduling for Pluto TV across international markets, leading teams across the UK, Nordics, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Canada and Latin America. During his time at Pluto TV, Paul was part of the team who successfully launched the service across major European markets, Latin America and Canada, sourcing and executing a number of innovative programming acquisition deals across a range of content.
Prior to Pluto TV, Paul served as Head Of Programme Planning at Hallmark Entertainment and before that he worked for 11 years for Discovery Networks International across a number of roles within Programming , Commissioning and Acquisitions department. During this time he successfully launched a number of brands including TLC, ID and Quest across the UK and Europe.
Prior to Discovery, he was part of the launch team who brought Channel 5 to UK screens working across their Programming and Acquisitions department, as they successfully developed a highly impressive line-up of Feature Films and TV Series including CSI.
Paul worked for 11 years for Discovery Networks International working across a number of roles within their Programming , Commissioning and Acquisitions department. During this time he successfully launched a number of brands including TLC, ID and Quest across the UK and Europe.
