Alejandro has over 25 years of experience in the TV and media industry. He started his career in 1999 at the Multimedia department of KPN Research. His work during this period was focused on developing and validating solutions for QoS measurement of VoIP, and for video DRM. Since 2004 he has worked on specifications and designs for various components of KPN’s IPTV and OTT service ecosystem including STB hardware, STB middleware and applications, video pipeline, back-office systems and CAS/DRM. Over the past couple of years, Alejandro was responsible for TV business development and strategy, leading a multidisciplinary team that implemented proof of concepts aimed at validating new TV services and technologies.
In his current position, Alejandro is responsible for hardware and software technical requirements for KPN TV STBs.
Alejandro holds a MSc degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo, Spain.
