"Since 2018, Vincent GRIVET serves as Chairman of HbbTV, a global initiative dedicated to providing open standards for advanced interactive TV services (such as addressable advertising and audience measurement) through broadcast and broadband networks to connected TV sets and set-top boxes; HbbTV now reaches to more than 100 millions homes in Europe and another 30+ millions outside of Europe ( MENA -Asia ).
Vincent also works as an independent consultant advising broadcast and technology players from Europe and the USA, focusing on media distribution strategies, strategic and technology alliances and industrial affairs.
He is a non-executive director at the Board of Netgem ( ALNTG.PA), a provider of technology and services to the video entertainment industry.
Prior to this, he held various international marketing, M&A, business development and general management positions at Orange Group and at TDF Group; during its time at TDF, Vincent has been an active DVB Member and broadcast innovator, working on important forward looking topics such as targeted TV advertising and mobile broadcasting.
In 2020, Vincent has assembled and led “The LoCaT Project” , a collaborative initiative dedicated to the assessment and optimization of the energy and carbon impact of delivering TV content across Europe.
Vincent graduated from Paris’s prestigious Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom Paris engineering schools and is also an IFA certified company director."
