Thijs Bijleveld joined IMAX Streaming and Consumer Technology in 2023 as Vice President of Sales for EMEA & APAC, coming from Conviva. Previously, Thijs headed sales and marketing at Metrological since 2014, which resulted in the successful acquisition of Metrological by Comcast in 2019. He initiated and led the company’s commercial expansion with MVPDs, streamers, and broadcasters across EMEA and APAC. After the acquisition, he served for 4 years as Executive Director, running the EMEA team for Comcast’s syndication business. Thijs holds various board advisory positions within the Media & Telecom industry. Aside from his passion for supporting the Media & Entertainment industry in delivering value-added services, Thijs puts his family first and loves road biking, sailing, and cooking.
