Simon Butler is Founder and CEO of eCreation Media, a UK-based technology consultancy specialising in cloud-based video and interactive platforms. He has spent his career working across broadcast and OTT environments, leading the design and delivery of complex, large-scale media systems.

He has contributed to the development of platforms including Freesat Freetime, UKTV Freeway, the Velocix CDN technology platform and the BBC Studios Media Supply Chain, working with major UK broadcasters and infrastructure providers including Arqiva and BT on high-stakes, multi-stakeholder programmes.

Today, Simon works with media organisations navigating digital transformation, cloud migration and the integration of AI-driven workflows, helping them modernise distribution infrastructure and deliver scalable, production-ready solutions. Alongside leading the company, he remains closely involved in technical strategy and delivery.
